College Tuition Essay
Title: College Tuition Just Keeps Climbing
Synopsis
The rates of public college tuition continue to ascent in the background of financial crisis and recession, and therefore further fluctuations will depend on the government’s ability to apply appropriate managerial policies in due respect. Affected by 2007 inflation, this year has evidenced slight excess of tuition fees over the consumer price index. At that, college prices keep pace with the overall increase of consumer prices; though show the strong tendency for further increase. Apparently, midyear budget cuts are inevitable in the short run causing further midyear tuition growth at public colleges. Crisis management solutions should be adopted and further implemented by federal and state governments. Therefore, governmental intrusion backed up by efficient managerial solutions is needed to stabilize the current situation, specifically: further increase of the share of federal student loans; maintenance of tax benefits for students; implementation of additional social-oriented applications to benefit students and college HR resources.
